Melvin Murray is a drummer from London ON, Canada. He has over twenty years of playing experience and stands as a seasoned drummer, teacher, and drum tech within the music industry.  

For the past twelve years, Melvin has been on an exhilarating journey within the Canadian music industry lending his skills to bands such as Texas King, Walk off the Earth, Abandon All Ships, Goodnight Sunrise, Loviet and Our Lady Peace. 

As a dedicated educator with almost a decade of teaching experience, Melvin is committed to shaping the next generation of drummers. Holding two certificates from the Berklee College of Music, Melvin imparts not just technical expertise but also a deep and rich understanding of the art of drumming and music.

With a diverse background in genres ranging from rock to latin funk and everything in between, Melvin seamlessly adapts his drumming style to suit the unique flavour of each musical endeavour he encounters. His ability to blend into different sonic landscapes showcases not only a proficient technical understanding of his instrument, but also a genuine passion for the art of musical collaboration.
